    About This Event

Winston Center's Clough Colloquium: Making Human Rights the Compass for All Ethical Globalization

    Featuring Mary Robinson
President of the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice
    President of Ireland (1990–1997)
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (1997–2002)

Mary Robinson served as the seventh, and first female, President of Ireland. She is widely regarded as a transformative figure for Ireland, and for the Irish presidency, revitalizing and liberalizing a previously conservative, low-profile political office. President Robinson's talk at Boston College will address the critical role leadership plays in improving human rights and education.

Presented with the Women's Collaborative, Women's Center, and the Civic Engagement Committee.
