    All Woods College of Advancing Studies alumni are invited to FanFest prior to the football game against Maine. A special section will be reserved for you to meet and mingle.

    Beginning three hours prior to kickoff, FanFest features family-friendly activities, tailgate food and drinks, inflatable games, face painting, and appearances by Baldwin, the BC cheerleaders, and Welles—the live eagle mascot. More information.

    The Boston College Alumni Association will host Always an Eagle events in six cities this fall to welcome members of the Class of 2014 to their local chapter. Each will include a reception with hors d'oeuvres and a short speaking program, which will provide an opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends to hear from the Alumni Association and a keynote speaker.     The Alumni Association and The Gaelic Roots Music, Song, Dance, Workshop, and Lecture Series are pleased to present a concert by master fiddle player Don Roy, with his wife Cindy Roy on piano. With roots deep in the Maritimes and Quebec, Don's musical passion is the French Canadian fiddle tradition, followed closely by his love for Celtic music.

    Don has received fellowship awards from the state of Maine for excellence in traditional music, and his CD Thanks for the Lift earned him national recognition. Cindy's piano accompaniment is augmented by her rhythmic feet, adding life and enthusiasm to the fiddle tunes.

    No registration required. Admission is free and open to the public with no reserved seating.
